“How the heck is this guy going to turn my life around?”

Posted by The Jaded Tech January - 18 - 2006 - Wednesday ADD COMMENTS

That’s what I asked myself when I first saw T. Harv Eker. I thought he looked like a regular guy but when he walked out on stage and started to speak to an audience of over 1000 people, I knew I had stumbled onto something extremely special.

T. Harv Eker is author of the #1 NY Times bestselling book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, and his programs have changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people all over the world.

In the book, Harv teaches you how to identify what he calls your “financial blueprint.” It’s like a thermostat. Your ability to be successful is limited by how high your blueprint is set for. Unfortunately, as I quickly learned, many of us have an extremely low blueprint due to the conditioning we receive as children. It’s no one’s fault, just the way it is. But–and this is big–we can learn to RESET our blueprint for a higher level of success.

It’s like riding a bike. The first time you tried it, it was hard–really hard! I don’t know about you, but I remember falling off that bike a lot at first. But after lots of practice (and lots of falling down!) I suddenly started riding that bike… I had found my balance! That feeling of suddenly riding is how I feel about money now, since attending Harv’s program. And I think you’ll feel the same way after you’ve attended one of his Millionaire Mind Evenings.

The best part? They’re absolutely FREE!

I know, I know. Believe me, I was skeptical at first too. You just have to attend in order to understand and you’ve really got nothing to lose. Just invest a few hours of your time and you’ll see what I mean. I think you’ll be glad you did. That’s why I’m encouraging you in the strongest possible way to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to be at one of these upcoming events.

Here’s the most recent list of the upcoming Millionaire Mind Evening events:

P.S. Below is a little more information about what you’ll learn when you attend.

Are you 100% satisfied with your level of financial success?

Have you ever wondered why some people seem to get rich easily, while others seem destined for a life of financial struggle?

Is the difference found in their education, intelligence, skills, timing, or their choice of jobs, businesses, or investments?

The surprising answer is: None of the above!

In just five minutes, T. Harv Eker can identify what is called your money and success “blueprint.” Each of us has a personal money and success blueprint ingrained in our subconscious mind and it is this blueprint, more than anything else, that determines your financial destiny.

Your blueprint is like a thermostat and the only way to permanently change the temperature in the room is to reset the thermostat. In the exact same way, the only way to change your level of financial success on a permanent basis is to RESET your financial thermostat, otherwise known as your “money blueprint.”

In this profound seminar you will learn:

* How rich people think differently than the poor and middle class people
* The hidden cause of almost all financial problems!
* Why knowledge and skill do NOT create wealth

* How your childhood conditioning is affecting you financially today

* How to RESET your financial “thermostat” for automatic success

* How to train your “mind” to work FOR you, instead of AGAINST you

And that’s just the beginning.
..

You will identify the patterns of thinking that have been holding you back, and what you need to do to turn them around. But there’s one question you need to answer first… Are you ready?

  5. Anti-Virus. My computer can catch a cold?
  6. Firewalls. What they heck is this?
  7. Spyware. Who’s watching me?!
  8. And a little more

Tech Tip #2 – Let’s get ready to REEEEEEEFREEEEESHHHHHHHHH!!!

Posted by The Jaded Tech January - 5 - 2006 - Thursday ADD COMMENTS
[insert cheesy announcer voice]

And now, ladies and gentlemen, let’s get ready to REEEEEEEFREEEEESHHHHHHHHH!!!

[/insert]

I review my website logs on a regular basis. I am continually seeing error pages where there should be no errors. I have gone over every piece of HTML code of my site to verify that it all works and yet these errors keep showing up from people visiting this site.

There is only one explanation left. It’s the visitor’s fault.

“How can it be my fault? I just type in an address!” You say.

Well, allow me to explain how web browsing works, in a simplified way.

When you go to a website, that web server sends code and files to your Internet Explorer Cache (meaning temporary storage folder on your computer). From there, IE reads the files and displays them on your screen.

“Why would it go through all that hassel?” you ask.

Well, there are some good benefits from this seemingly over-complicated process. First, if you visit a site often, IE checks it’s cache to see if it already has those files from the site. If it does, it won’t bother downloading them all over again and simply display them quicker for you.

Now, here’s where the problem tends to start. Lets say I create a page, let’s call it blog.html. :) Now, you visit this page, IE downloads the code/files and stores it. Tomorrow you visit and IE sees that you already have all the code/files that my site shows, so IE simply pulls up the files it already has stored. While my site may seem suddenly faster, what happens if I only changed a word or two due to grammatical errors? What will you see?

Yup, you get to see the ‘errors’ that ave been stored on your machine’s cache folder. This goes for any type of updates. Say I included a link that was typed wrong. I figured it out, fixed it but since you are really viewing the ‘temporary page’ stored in your cache, you never see the correction.

“How do I fix this?” you ask.

Well, quite simple really. With Internet Explorer open, click on Tools, then click on Internet Options, click on ‘delete files’ button, place a checkmark in ‘delete all offline pages’ then click OK. If you have never done this before, be patient as it may take quite a while, possibly as long as 5 minutes! While you are there, you might as well click on ‘delete cookies’ as part of your regular maintenance, you do have one of those in place right? If not, e-mail me and I’ll send you a copy of our Maintenance Guide in Adobe PDF format.

Now, once that is all done, close IE, re-open and try the page again. Any errors you see should show corrected and links should work just fine now.

As a side note, hitting F5 will refresh the page and most likely pick up corrected/new information for that page but this does not delete all the temp files that are stores on your system. You will still want to delete the temp files on a regular basis because when IE checks to see if it already has that page’s files stored, it has to check through a rather large amount of files, this slows down the displaying of a webpage. By delete files, you just may notice a nice increase in web browsing :)

Happy Refreshing and Happy New Years!

About us

Having been active around technology for almost 30 years, and seeing many people failing to grasp both it’s importance as well as it’s basic usage, I decided it was high-time to show the world how idiotic they can be. People simply need to have a bigger vision of the tools that have been given to them.
